Food is excellent. The peas are out of this world. Yes, I said peas. They are delicious as well as the fish, red beans, white beans, stuffed catfish and Mac and cheese which is made with spaghetti noodles instead of the traditional way. Ms. Queen is a sweetheart and will treat you right and fill your belly with some good cooking.

Go here if you'd like to take a nap after your lunch break. Just great food. The Catfish is some of the best I've had and the Red Beans are also great. Everything is well seasoned, which is the highest compliment I can give. Call ahead about 15 mins before you want to pick it up.
QC was recommended to me by my co worker JC last week. So I put it on my NOLA Hit List. Went after work on Friday and definitely was surprised how small the place was. Well I must say after ordering just about everything on the menu... QC is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Probably the best soul food I've had since being in NOLA. The fried chicken with cheese pasta and yams with peas was delicious. The red beans and rice was superb. The corn bread was bar none the best. The customer service was impeccable. The Hungry Hardhat has made an official Yelp Proclamation... Queens Cuisine is a must try when in NOLA. QC has made my Platinum List hands down. Note: I ordered so much food they couldn't fit it through the window...LOL So let it be written.... So let it be EATEN!!!
Food was pretty good, however the functionality of the business could be a bit better. There's no inside seating, you can order via the side window or via phone. I was unaware of this at first which resulted in me ordering upon arrival and sitting in my car while the food was being prepared. Perhaps they should consider posting their menu online and not just on a chalkboard outside so customers can easily view the menu ahead of time. The best and freshest fried chicken I've had in a very long time! Not pictured- side of yams, they were "meh", nothing to write home about at all
